Event Profile : We are pleased to inform you that the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) is organizing the 9th International Mining & Machinery Exhibition (IMME 2008) from 5 ? 8 November, 2008 at Salt Lake Stadium, Kolkata, India. Over 300 participants from 15 countries, including the major Indian Corporate in this sector are expected to participate at IMME 2008. A two-day International Conference will also be organized concurrently with the exhibition. Key people from the government and industry, both from India and overseas, will address the Summit.

Germany leads the world in engineering technology, especially in mining equipment. Many German companies have close ties to Indian mining houses. Some German firms also have local production in India, which has become a very important export market for German mining equipment.
